I love scrap-booking!

I love scrapbooking; laughs of joy, cries of sadness, memories all worth picturing, gathering and remembering. Memories are gifts that are given to you. It’s not obvious at the time, in that moment or two, when it’s passing you by. A scrapbook is a reminder of all the memories that have been imprinted on my mind. All the special people friends, and family that have a unique place in my history will never be forgotten…

And now you can create a digital scrapbook in 5 minutes using Send Out Cards and every page will be different. What a fast and easy way to create a memorial Christmas present. It is so simple and if you would like to know more, please contact me by phone at 720-890-8760 or email at jeanettemcvoy@opriusmail.com and I will show you how. It is so much fun and your shopping can be finished in minutes.

How to observe Thanksgiving

Count your blessings instead of your crosses;
Count your gains instead of your losses.
Count your joys instead of your woes;
Count your friends instead of your foes.
Count your smiles instead of your tears;
Count your courage instead of your fears.
Count your full years instead of your lean;
Count your kind deeds instead of your mean.
Count your health instead of your wealth;
Count on God instead of yourself.
Let Us Be As Thankful…
Let us be as thankful as
The pilgrims at their feast.
Embrace our families and our friends.
Be kind to man and beast.
Let us share the harvest and as we go our way,
Be thankfully rejoicing on this, Thanksgiving Day.

New Tool – Put Videos In Greeting Cards!

Greeting cards are now high tech! The Send Out Cards system now allows you to upload a video and put it in a card just like a photo.

Here’s how it works. You upload your video by putting the YouTube URL in the photo upload tool. The system creates a QR code and shortened URL that you can drag and drop into your card just as you would with a photo. Here’s the outside

"Golden Retrievers"

Rusty & Daisy in the snow

Here is the inside of the card showing the QR code to scan with your smart phone to watch the video.  You can also type the shortened URL into any browser and watch it that way too.

Give it a try.  If the QR code is too small for you to scan online, see what you would see on your phone by going to http://mysocvideo.com/i03l5y

My Story

I grew up on a farm in NE Colorado and got interested in nursing at a young age because I helped take care of my two brothers who were in wheelchairs with Muscular Dystrophy.

After becoming a RN, I worked as a pediatric nurse for 39 years and loved helping children and educating them and their parents on preventive health.

Although I loved taking care of patients as a nurse, I didn’t have a life. I didn’t have the time freedom I wanted to spend time with my grandkids, wasn’t being paid what I was worth, didn’t like the hours and was tired of not feeling appreciated.

I realized something needed to change. The path I was following was not going to give me the future I wanted. I needed to find something different, a “plan B” that I could believe in, that would provide the time and financial freedom I wanted.

And then I found it!

A company called Send Out Cards offers a part time home business that gave me the time to enjoy my grandchildren, build my retirement and escape the rat race.

Send Out Cards showed me how I could make money by sending cards and gifts from my computer that the company would print, address, stamp and mail for me the very next day for less than $1.00.

Getting paid to make people feel good and showing others how to do it too. How cool is that!

After only a few short years of working part time at home, I now make twice what I did as a nurse and have the time to spend two days each week with my grandkids.

Would you like to do this too? It’s actually a very simple business and I will personally help you do it. Get in touch if you are interested and I’ll show you how it all works.

History of Easter Greeting Cards

Although Easter greeting cards were sent as early as 1907, the origin of the holiday dates back to ancient Anglo-Saxons festivals celebrating the arrival of spring and new offspring. Back them it was to celebrate a pagan god called Eostre, and logically the rabbit was their symbol of fertility and spring.

In the second century AD, Christian missionaries came North and used existing pagan holidays as a way to convert them to Christianity by allowing them to continue their seasonal celebrations but adding the Christian meanings gradually over time.

Prior to 325 AD, Easter was celebrated on various days of the week. After that the emperor Constantine decreed it to be on a Sunday.

The practice of delivering eggs was first recorded in Germany in the early 17th century and then brought to America by Dutch settlers in the 18th century.

The tradition of the Easter bunny delivering brightly colored eggs to good children much like Santa at Christmas started in Germany where children would build brightly colored nests and the Easter bunny would put colored eggs and small gifts the night before.

Sending an Easter greeting card has never been easier. These days you can go online, choose from 178 different cards and have one printed, addressed, stuffed, stamped and mailed the next day for about $1.00.

Easter greeting cards are available in 4 categories: cards for anyone, for kids, humorous and religious.
